EPISODE 7: NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE YOU

One of the principles I learned during my 3.5 years at Habilitat was:

NO FREE LUNCH.

That lesson was never just about money.

It was about ownership.

Responsibility.

Accountability.

And understanding that at some point, you have to participate in your own rescue.

No one can build your next chapter for you.

People can teach you.

Support you.

Coach you.

Love you.

But eventually, you have to move.

That principle changed my life, and it is one of the lessons I now teach through AIPFA, Anything Is Possible For All.

Your receivables report may be sitting on a gold mine.

FROM PRISON TO PARDON

Who would’ve thought the last book that was left to read after I read hundreds in the module in prison would be none other than… “Journey from hell, “by Vinny Marino. The founder of the Habilitat program. Where my home would be under supervised release conditions from 1997 April 11 until October 2020. Successfully graduated from the hardest program in the whole wide 🌍

From prison to a Governor’s pardon.

Those are two points on a much bigger journey.

What happened between them?

Work. Ownership. Mindset. Reinvention.
