Whether you’re racing or cheering from the sidelines, this is one of the Coho Festival’s most entertaining traditions. Gather your team, decorate your bed, and get ready for a little friendly competition!

🪓 The Jack Pine Lumberjacks are coming to the National Coho Salmon Festival! 🌲

Get ready for one of the most exciting attractions of the weekend! We’re thrilled to welcome the Jack Pine Lumberjacks from Mackinaw City to Honor for the 2026 National Coho Salmon Festival.

Watch world-class lumberjacks go head-to-head in thrilling events like log rolling, axe throwing, crosscut sawing, speed climbing, and more. It’s fast-paced, family-friendly entertainment that showcases the incredible skill and tradition of Michigan’s logging heritage.

Whether you’re cheering on the competitors or seeing a lumberjack show for the very first time, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Join us August 21–22 in Honor as we celebrate “Reeling in a Good Time Since 1967.” Between the carnival, parade, bed races, live music, great food, and now the Jack Pine Lumberjacks, there’s something for everyone.

Calling all VENDORS!!

This year the National Coho Salmon Festival in Honor will enjoy an EXCITING Old School Carnival with rides and a midway!! There will be The Jack Pine Lumberjacks, an expanded Food Court with local beer and wines, new music acts, The Scotsville Clown Band will be joining the Parade, and lots of fun family activities like a bed race and a salmon decorating contest!

This year the festival will host a Coho Vendor Market directly adjacent to the Food Court and will be the first area festival goers see when they arrive. There will be space for approximately 40 - 10x10 booth spaces with vendor parking behind each booth.

The Market will run Friday, August 21 from 4pm - 8pm and Saturday August 22, immediately following the Parade, from 1pm - 5pm. Vendors can choose to participate one or both days. Friday's fee is $25. Saturday's fee is $40. Set up can begin 2 hours before the start of the market each day.

Forms can ALSO be picked up and dropped off at the Honor Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 9am - 2pm or at Weldon Coffee at 10910 Main St in Honor everyday 7am - 2pm

The DEADLINE for applications is Saturday, August 1st. You will be notified by email if your application to vend is accepted.

That’s right — decorated race beds, wild costumes, hometown bragging rights, and organized chaos are making a comeback for Coho Fest 2026. Grab your friends, coworkers, family members, fire department crew, business team, or whoever is brave enough to push a bed down the street at full speed.

We’re looking for teams that want to compete, have fun, and help bring back one of the festival’s most unforgettable traditions. Whether you want to go all-out competitive or just build the funniest bed possible, we want you involved.
