It's In The Blood - written by Christopher Lee Roeters

A Hauntingly Beautiful Tale of Love, Hope, and the Afterlife

Can a ghost boy from the past save a town's future?

In the quiet town of Mancelona, eleven-year-old Lance Kingslien dreams of overcoming his cerebral palsy. But one fateful morning, a terrifying accident plunges him into the deep end of his new pool. As panic takes hold and darkness closes in, Lance is pulled to safety by an impossible savior—Carlitos, the spirit of a five-year-old boy who tragically died twenty years earlier.

Carlitos is a playful yet determined ghost. For years, he has moved through the shadows of the living world—saving lives, flickering lights, and watching over the town—all while longing to reconnect with his deeply grieving mother, Marie.

But a spirit can only do so much alone.

With the help of Lance, a dedicated Sheriff, and another boy Carlitos miraculously saved, this small group embarks on an unforgettable journey to prove to a heartbroken mother that her son never truly left.
Angels Among Us is a gripping, heartwarming paranormal drama about the unbreakable bond between a mother and child. Perfect for fans of inspirational ghost stories and supernatural mysteries, this book reminds us that even when life ends, love endures forever.
