“Tucking in the vines” Before & After

It looks like we’re just tidying up, but canopy management is everything for high quality wine. By training the shoots upright between the trellis wires, we ensure the leaves get maximum sunlight and most importantly the grape clusters get plenty of airflow to prevent mildew.

November vs. Now 🌱

A little vineyard update! Back in November, we tucked these starters into their wooden winter beds, layered them up with fresh soil and sawdust, wrapped them tight, and let them hibernate through the cold.
Fast forward to March, we woke them up, got them out into the dirt, and let them start incubating in their grow tubes.
