Unfortunately, we have to cancel today’s Junior Ranger Program meet-up at the Petersburg Youth Oasis Farm due to the rain forecast. We encourage you to meet us Saturday at the River Street Market in downtown Petersburg from 9am-12pm.

Privy Communications is happy to support community building and youth educational activities.

This October for Virginia Archeology Month, Petersburg National Battlefield is partnering with the Power Of Produce (POP) Club to offer youth ages 6-12 the opportunity to earn their Junior Ranger Archeology badge at the River Street Market (30 River Street). Each Saturday beginning October 8th the Park Archeologist will have several activities to be completed by the end of the month. In addition to meeting us at the Farmers Market, we will have two weekdays, October 13th and 27th, available for youth to meet us at the Petersburg Oasis Youth Farm. On October 29th, each participant that finishes the program will receive their badge at a ceremony during River Street's Tract-or Treat Market.! We hope to see you there!
