How I Grow an On-Line Business in the “New Norm”

Continually Optimize Values Into Dollars
2 Years ago I retired early from a major company. I am now Semi-retired. Therefore, financially this New Norm did not interrupt my life much.
As the COVID became our “New Norm”, I was concerned for others ......how are they going to earn money while being quarantined?
AND, while staying at home, people feeling discouraged, I also was a little down....
I knew I needed to work, Not for the money but for my sanity.
I am a people person but I felt like a Prisoner in my home!!!!!
Also, my son (as with other kids) had to stay home and finish out the year and begin a new school year “virtually”. Being a single mom, I knew I could Not leave my son at home for too many hours.
I wanted to learn how to build a business from home and how to sponsor New people with No prospecting and No rejections.
But How?
I realized that after a few months of struggling, with All the marketing strategies I had put in place, nothing was working because
“I Wasn’t Working “my business”.
I was chasing everyone away!!!!!
Also,
It was the No’s and family & friends that did not stand by me that made me feel like Quitting!!
I had to ask myself:
Am I committed?
Why did I pursue this business?
Finally
I found out how to build my on-line business with Know, Like & Trust.
I stopped feeding myself lies that I only needed “one cure all” strategy.
Here are the 3 things (formula/strategies) I learned & put in place:
Know -
Build a culture of community- Get to “know” people and their needs. I was told it is “a numbers game”. I realized that was a Lie.
People have needs……….. find out what their needs are and address them.
I was Repelling & Not getting to know my community
Like -
Build A Team of “Belonging”. I was told to get “as many people on my team to get the $”.
People want to feel like they belong (on a team) regardless of income, success or performance.
I was Repelling & Not Leading my team
Trust -
“Rattle Their Resistance”. I was told “be transparent” but I really wasn’t being transparent at all. Instead I was avoiding “certain” question until I thought I had them "hooked".
People need to be “Exposed” to resistance right up front !!!!!!
I was Repelling by Not Earning Trust
I was only getting so far and then my prospects were disappearing…. Poof…..
I was not Attracting my new prospects long enough to stay with me
Bringing them in is only half the battle, Retention is the key
I used to be ashamed to say I had an online business….
Fast forward a year, Now I say that I am successful with a Smile. I have gone from struggling in my business to having a business that keeps growing every day. I am so blessed that the ad I saw found me and “I went for it (with Gusto)”.
