"Nobody claps for the wiring."

Spent this weekend ordering demo equipment to measure throw distances, mapping signal paths, and figuring out how a camera in the back of a sanctuary talks to a display in the fellowship hall.

Not glamorous. But this is the difference between a church that livestreams and a church that has a production system — one flow that feeds the room, the lobby, the overflow, and the internet at the same time, run by one volunteer who isn't sweating - but has the capability of displaying something different if desired...

Most churches think the upgrade is resolution. It isn't.

We're rebuilding a sanctuary system from the ground up — cameras, switching, audio routing, in-room displays, and signal distribution through the building. The hardware is 4K capable end to end.

The stream will go out at 1080p 60fps.

Start with the obvious one: Facebook caps live video at 1080p. That's where most churches send their service. You cannot stream 4K to it. Not a settings problem — a platform ceiling.

Then there's the pipe. A 4K stream needs a real, dedicated upload path — not the same connection the office printer, the guest wifi, and the children's ministry iPads are fighting over. Most church buildings aren't wired for that, and nobody budgets for it because nobody tells them.

And at 1080p60, motion is smooth. The choir moves, the preacher walks, and it doesn't turn to mush. Lower thirds stay readable on a phone in a nursing home or hotel wifi.

We build for what people actually watch on. The 4K stays in the room and in the archive, where it earns its money.
