ANOTHER SERVE STORY:
I've been serving process for 11 years. THIS WAS A FIRST. Today I encountered a 78 year old lady. After her inquiring who I was, I introduced myself and explained I was there to serve her husband. She looks a little confused, tells me to hang on a minute and goes back inside. A short bit later she comes back out carrying a box and with a straight face she says "Here he is".
SHE BRINGS ME HIS ASHES!! 😲
I suppose the look on my face was too much for her to handle. She belly laughed I swear for a full minute.
She stated her husband was a jokester and would have gotten a good laugh at this. She offered for me to tuck the papers into the side of the box.
I'm most certain my client would not consider that a legal serve. 🤣

“Whoever you are… I hope this finds you. And I hope you know, you took a life.” This is a message from Allan Cook's younger sister, Becca.

On September 10, 2022, Lesley “Allan” Cook was struck on Malvern Avenue near the Cedarwood Subdivision in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The vehicle (a black 2017–2019 GMC Acadia) hit him and kept going. They CHOSE not to stop. They CHOSE not to help. They CHOSE not to take accountability.

Allan was left critically injured, his body pushed beneath a chain link fence. At the scene, the vehicle lost its passenger-side mirror.
Allan fought for months after the hit & run, but his injuries were extensive. Nearly nine months later, Allan passed away from the damage caused by that night.

PLEASE SHARE! Someone out there knows something. Maybe you saw a black Acadia missing a passenger-side mirror around that time frame. Maybe you heard someone explain vehicle damage that didn’t quite add up.
Even the smallest detail could matter.

If you have any information, please contact the Garland County Sheriff’s Office 501-622-3660.
It's been 3 years and this case is still UNSOLVED! Allan's family deserves answers.

LET'S JOIN TOGETHER!
As most of us are aware, sadly, some cases receive national attention, while others quietly fade into the background. Every victim deserves to be remembered and every family deserves answers. I'd like to focus on some "forgotten" and less "known" cold cases.

Here's where I need your help.

What cold case do you believe needs more attention?
Is there an unsolved case that seems to have been forgotten?
What case have very few people heard about?
If you have a missing or murdered loved one, or know of a case that remains unresolved and has received very little attention, feel free to share it here. Let’s help bring awareness to the cases and the families still waiting for answers.

Hot Springs, Arkansas- April 1, 2026 at Hot Springs Fire Department’s Central Station at 310 Broadway St. there will be a free community Narcan training. Come and learn how to identify and save a life from an opioid overdose. Everyone is welcome to attend and will receive a FREE box of Narcan to take home. You are asked to RSVP with the contact information below. PLEASE SHARE!

Naloxone (commonly called Narcan) is one of the most important tools for saving someone from an opioid overdose. In many situations, it is the difference between life and death. 🧡
Why it matters so much?
Opioids slow or stop breathing. Drugs like he**in, fentanyl, or prescription painkillers can shut down the brain’s breathing signal.
Narcan reverses that effect. It knocks the opioids off the brain’s receptors and restores breathing.
It works quickly. Most people respond within 2–3 minutes after it’s given.
It’s very safe. If you give it to someone who is not actually overdosing on opioids, it generally won’t harm them.

I just received word that Joshua Peppers has been located. Sending prayers to the family.

Below is a message from his wife.

"Joshua Peppers has been found. It is not the ending that I hoped for. I will update more later once I have had the time to process this. Thank you for understanding."

FRIENDS: Your well-being is important! In case you are not aware or just need to hear this. Or perhaps someone you know needs a nudge! Please Share this! You matter! ❤️

Sometimes it’s a marriage that’s been empty for years.
Sometimes a friendship that only survives on history.
Sometimes a career that costs more than it gives.
We stay for memories.
We stay for promises.
We stay because leaving feels like failure.
History can’t replace health or your well-being.
Not in marriages. Not in friendships. Not in careers.
Stress, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion are often the signs.
Don’t keep watering what’s already gone just because it once bloomed.
