Sunday Thoughts... when a picture is sent to my inbox.
And the question that follows, “How much would it cost to alter this?”
Honestly, that’s a hard question to answer without seeing the garment and knowing exactly what you want.
Sometimes I can make a small adjustment and get you a better fit with one simple alteration.
Other times, I might need to take things apart, reshape areas, adjust seams, or work around zippers, lining, beading, pockets, or other details.
So even though the request might sound like the same alteration, the amount of work can be completely different.
That’s why I don’t like giving prices based only on a picture or a quick description.
Because when you say, “I just need it taken in,” that can mean very different things.
