Throwback Thursday to this sugar maple tree that we removed for a customer near their house. 🏡 There was significant decay evident in the base. Due to its proximity to the house and ongoing structural degradation, it was decided to remove the tree to eliminate the risk to the customer's property. 🦺🌲

Additional work was done in the crown prior to felling at the base to reduce weight on the tree toward the house and encourage it to fall in the direction of the pull line. We take every advantage we can. 💪 And the tree had ants and grub worms in it that came boiling out of the base. 🫣🐜
