Immediate Openings for PWE Technicians
The Pressurized Welding Enclosure Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of pressurized enclosures used to create controlled environments for hot work activities. This role ensures compliance with safety standards to maintain proper atmospheric conditions.
Key Responsibilities
-Set up and dismantle pressurized welding enclosures (habitats) at job sites
-Monitor and maintain enclosure pressure, airflow, and gas levels to meet required specifications
-Conduct atmospheric testing for oxygen levels, flammable gases, and contaminants
-Install and maintain ventilation, filtration, and pressurization systems
-Perform routine inspections and leak checks on enclosure systems
-Ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and site-specific safety standards
-Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and safety personnel to support welding operations
-Troubleshoot and repair enclosure equipment and components
-Maintain documentation, logs, and inspection records
-Assist in emergency response procedures related to enclosure integrity or atmospheric hazards
