Another sign in the ground! 🌻🐔

Today we installed this new sign for Petal Perfection Florist in Prince George.

One of the best parts of being a family business is getting to work together. Today, Kelly handled the installation while Keira helped on the job site and captured the finished photos. 📸

The glamorous side of the sign business. 😆

Truck loaded and headed out.

Today's first stop is a planning meeting with the developer and electrician for the new section of Chesdin Landing. We'll be mapping out street signs, street lamps, and coordinating the details.

Then it's off to Petersburg for an install.

And tomorrow's install is so large it's going to take two truckloads to get everything there.

Most people see the finished signs. What they don't see are the meetings, planning, coordination, loading, and miles on the road that happen long before the first sign goes up.

Just another day at Outpost Signs. 🚚

We love seeing local businesses supporting local businesses.

These banners and business cards were created for Xena's Arts & Designs, and it's great to see them on display and helping her stand out at vendor events.

One thing people don’t always notice until it’s rough… is the entrance sign. 😅

We recently refreshed this sign at The Masters at Chesdin Landing and it turned out beautifully.

Community signs work hard year-round, and keeping them maintained makes a huge difference in the overall look and feel of a neighborhood. ⛳

Okay… I need honest opinions before I go down another “Laura had an idea” rabbit hole. 😂

I’ve been thinking about offering Paint a Barn Quilt Workshops, and I honestly can’t decide if people around here would LOVE this… or if Kelly is about to find me buying paint by the gallon and questioning my life choices. 😆

The idea:
❤️🤍💙 You paint your own outdoor barn quilt
🪵 Sign-grade boards - laser engraved and primed by Outpost Signs
✨ Beginner friendly with engraved guidelines
👯‍♀️ Girls night / family / friend group fun / take home to paint

These would be made to actually LAST outdoors, not just crafty decor.

Just in time for their Open House & Ribbon Cutting ✨

We recently installed this custom roadside sign and mailbox for Patrick Henry House in Jetersville, and honestly… this one means a little more. ❤️

Patrick Henry House is creating a supportive place for men seeking recovery, healing, and a fresh start, and we’re proud to have played a small part in helping welcome people through their doors.

If you’re out Thursday, stop by their Open House from 2:00–6:30 PM. They’ll have food, raffle prizes, games for the kids, a bounce house from Ready Set Roll, tours of the facility, and a Ribbon Cutting from 2:00–3:00 PM with the Amelia County Chamber of Commerce

There’s something special about seeing a sign go up for a business or organization that’s working to make a real difference in the community. ❤️

Some signs are more than just signs. They tell a story before you ever read a word. 🤍

A couple years ago we had the chance to create this piece using a 100+ year old barn door supplied by the customer from their property.

We designed the logo, cut it from metal, and mounted it directly onto the original wood to create a sign that fit the history and personality of the farm instead of looking mass produced.

You just can’t recreate the character and texture that comes from wood with that much history behind it. Every mark and weathered spot was already part of the story.

Projects like this are some of our favorites because they blend custom fabrication with pieces that actually mean something to the customer
