We Practice Life and teach tools for peace

The first step in conflict resolution is getting to the facts. It is no wonder there is so much conflict in ourselves, our communities, our world.

We need to start by fact-checking our thoughts and get to solving for reality, not the fiction made up by the person with the most power, influence, and loudest voice.

Check out our Substack post for today.

Getting to the facts is the first step in conflict resolution

Team WPL when receiving unbelievably positive feedback (last night) after delivering team trainings to real estate developers.

My work (Brooke) in real estate design and development field nearly doused my soul’s spark. I had to leave, find myself, and come back on my own terms. I had to be taught by my work with kids on the brink of death and literally tattoo one of their profound messages on my hand—a reminder to be unapologetically me.

Now, the tools I developed—from various brilliant minds in psychology, business, and spiritual fields—to rebuild and stay close to my values—the ones rapidly transformed for easy consumption—are reaching that very industry to enhance personal and professional relationships and infuse corporate culture with the kind of sustainability that comes from integrity, curiosity, and crucial and compassionate communication.

I have no idea how to ice skate, but Alysa’s dance party on the ice, that pure, this-is-me energy, THIS I know in every cell of my body. It is electric and inspiring and could use quite a bit more big stage presence right about now!

We are thrilled by Alysa’s gritty integrity and we think this is a great way to practice life 🙌💫

Scoutism this morning after I dropped a “Good job” instead of my usual specific gratitude:
What do you mean “Good job?”
Me: Oh, right. I mean when you took care of the containers on the counter, you are meeting Dada’s needs for order and beauty. He loves it when the counter is totally cleared after he does the dishes!
Scout: Ah, yes! True. True!
I love it when the kids hold us accountable so our connections stay deep, meaningful, clear, and actionable!
Specific Gratitude formula
When you (choice or action), it met my needs for (list needs/values).

I invite you to curate some words, messages from your heart!
This one from April told me this:
I bid you go
To love
It surpasses all

These are very worthy practices, blackout poetry and this message!

Daily psycho-social-spiritual practices bibliography:
Bill has his own bibliography for his presentation. This book stack is my bibliography for the practices. The business books may seem out of place. AND, working as a projct manager has really come in handy when I shifted my attention to the architecture of spirituality and building a life I no longer wanted to escape from.
Being an integrator in business has shown me how to operationalize psychological, social, and spiritual concepts.
Preparing for our conference at The Jung Center is fueling up my spiritual spark!
