I turn 30 today. And truthfully… I’ve been through some things.
This past decade taught me lessons no textbook ever could.

I made mistakes. I made moves. I gained skills. I chased money. I chased God.
But if I’m being real—I rarely paused to enjoy the moment.

I was so focused on the next that I forgot to breathe in the now.
So fixated on the goal, I forgot to celebrate the journey or the milestones.

Never again.

As I step into this next chapter, I’m still building—
But I’m doing it differently now.
More present. More aligned.
Still hungry. Still relentless.
But now rooted in peace, not pressure.

And to my younger self:
You did it. You carried the weight when it got heavy.
You didn’t hit every goal (no wife or kids yet)—but you’re becoming the man you dreamed of.
And that deserves honor.

Now, here’s what they don’t tell you about becoming him:

“If you’re truly built for winning, most of your life you’ll feel like you’re behind.
Like you’re not doing enough. Like you’re messing it up even while you’re doing everything right.
It’s not weakness—it’s the signal you’re on the right path.”

And that’s exactly how this past decade felt.

90% of the time: pressure.
8% of the time: confusion.
2% of the time: a win you barely get to taste before you’re climbing again.
But I get it now—this is the process.

This is what it feels like when you’re becoming someone who can never be shaken.

So yeah—I’m proud.
Proud of who I’ve been.
Proud of who I’m becoming.
And committed to building with joy this time around.

Here’s to 30.
Let’s live it. Let’s build it.
And let’s never forget to feel it along the way.

What can go wrong if you choose the wrong NAICS code?

Well, let’s say, you are under the NAICS code 238320 which is for Painting and Wall Covering Contractors and your secondary NAICS code is 236015 which is for the New Single Family Housing Construction.

As a small business, you are limited to $15 million a year over three years, or a total of $45 million over three years. If you exceed that threshold, you are no longer considered a small business.

You can, however, change your primary NAICS code if you wish.

In the case above, you can change the primary code to be 236015 and the 238320 is the secondary one. In this case, your cap would be $36.5 million per year, which would amount to $110 million dollars over three years. That’s a difference of $60 million dollars!
