In addition, Fawaz said their findings showed that a popular app continuously accessed the microphone even if the user is muted and used that information to send periodic telemetry packets.

In today's world, so many take for granted the freedoms that our brothers and sisters sacrificed, from those that paid the ultimate price on the battlefields to those that brought the battle home and continued to fight and lost, to the inner wounds of PTSD and Operator Syndrome.

As a Nation, we must take not just this day but every day to reflect and build so that our brethren have not sacrificed in vain.

Let us remember that all are created equal, and while the past is not always filled with equality, we can move forward.

While some are so caught up in aggrandizement, out there, in the places most can’t pronounce, there’s a soldier, sailor, airman, or marine giving all so that the evil stays off our shores.
