Time to decide. Registration closes today.

AI is moving quickly, and leaders are shaping how it fits into the way teams work.

On April 30, Kat Shoa (LLC Founder, Caspius) joins Zach Fink (Founder and CEO, Nuanced) for Tell It Like It Is Thursday® to discuss what it means to lead in the age of AI.

Together they will share honest, practical insights on leading AI adoption, making thoughtful decisions in a fast-moving environment, and supporting teams as they navigate change.

This session is part of WELD’s 2026 theme, The Evolution of Leadership and Mentorship: Leading in the 21st Century Post-COVID Era.

If you are thinking about how AI fits into your work and leadership, now is the time to join the conversation.

Flow occurs when work no longer requires constant effort to stay on track.

When priorities are clear and workflows are structured effectively, cognitive load decreases.

The conditions for focus emerge. Decisions can be made more efficiently. Work progresses with fewer interruptions and less rework. Energy and performance remain more consistent throughout the day.

This is the outcome we are working toward with organizations. Reducing friction in systems to improve focus, efficiency, and overall performance.

What does flow feel like in your organization right now?

What separates sustainable high performance from burnout is often not effort. It is recovery.

One of the most consistent things we see across the organizations we work with is that recovery time is the first thing cut when things get busy.

Breaks disappear, lunch happens at the desk, and the end of the day blurs into the evening.

Over time people stop feeling like they are keeping up and start feeling like they are falling behind no matter how much they do.
The teams that sustain high performance over time have figured something out. Recovery is part of the strategy.
This week’s tip:
Ask your team: when do you actually feel like you have had a chance to breathe during the workday? What comes up is usually worth paying attention to.
If you want to go deeper, the Wellness Wave® can show you where the energy is draining in your organization. Link in the comments.

Our CEO has been named Winner of the Women Leader in Organizational Transformation and Performance Consulting award at the International Women Awards 2026 and we are so proud!

This recognition reflects five years of work and a mission that has always centered on what it actually looks like to design organizations where people can perform at their best. Seeing that recognized on an international stage means everything to this team.

Congratulations, Kate. So well deserved.

The International Women Awards is now in its 8th year and is presented by Great Companies, recognizing women leaders across the globe who are driving innovation, impact, and excellence in their industries. Read the full feature at the link below!

We did not win. But we’re still celebrating!

Being named an Executive Duo Finalist at the Transform awards is a reflection of five years of work and a mission that started with a simple but uncomfortable question: what if we actually designed work around the conditions that help people perform at their best?

That question still drives everything we do. Being recognized in a community of people asking the same kinds of questions makes it all feel a little more possible.

Congratulations to Springline on a well deserved win, and gratitude to fellow finalists Anaplan, Because, and Seattle Children’s.

We are just getting started.

Turns out, talking about how work feels at work is actually allowed.
At , Five to Flow created the space for honest conversations about what was getting in the way, from meeting overload to focus challenges to concerns about burnout. The kind of conversations most teams avoid.
Within weeks, the team noticed real shifts in how they worked, collaborated, and supported each other.
More teams deserve that kind of space, and we would love to help create it.

One of the six biggest drivers of burnout is the breakdown of community.

When people start to feel disconnected at work, stress builds faster. People feel unsupported, and the challenges that once felt manageable can begin to feel heavier.

Flow, on the other hand, is supported by trust, belonging, and shared purpose. When people feel connected to the team around them and the work they are doing together, work becomes more sustainable and pressure is easier to navigate.

Community is a cultural benefit that plays a critical role in protecting people from burnout.

If you’re curious where burnout may be showing up for you, the BurnoutIQ assessment offers a free, private self check. The link is in the comments.

Elite athletes do not just train hard. They recover hard, too.

Work hard. Recover. Adapt. Repeat. That cycle is what peak performance actually looks like in sports. But most organizations have removed recovery from the equation entirely.

Our co-founder makes this connection in part one of our burnout series. When recovery is missing, chronic stress sets in. The brain changes. Attention narrows, memory declines, and the motivation that once drove people gets replaced by obligation and fear.

Dr. Christina Maslach’s research points to six workplace triggers behind this: workload, control, reward, community, fairness, and values alignment. None of them are about the individual. All of them are about how work is designed.

Burnout is not inevitable. It is a design problem.

“I want to take your assessment, but I’m scared.”

That message came from a senior leader at a Fortune 500 company.

Not scared of the questions. Scared of the answers.

Our CEO heard that and knew something had to change. When people are afraid to name what is happening to them at work, we have normalized dysfunction, not managed it.

$8.9 trillion is lost every year to workplace burnout and disengagement. Most organizations are still treating it as an individual problem. It is not. It is a systems problem.

Kate launched a 25-part campaign to name what is actually happening in workplaces and show what changes when leaders build the right conditions for flow.

Leading across five generations requires a different level of intention.

On February 26, WELD Tell It Like It Is Thursday® continues the 2026 theme, The Evolution of Leadership and Mentorship: Leading in the 21st Century Post-COVID Era, with a discussion led by our CEO focused on Generational Leadership and cross-generational mentorship in today’s evolving workplace.

Shelly Longo, Sr Director, HR Strategy and Chief of Staff at CoverMyMeds, and Brittany Buxton-Graham, Early Career Program Manager at Safelite, will explore how different generations communicate and show up at work, how legacy knowledge can be preserved thoughtfully, and how mentorship that flows in both directions strengthens teams and leadership pipelines.

If you are leading through generational dynamics and thinking intentionally about succession and knowledge transfer, this conversation will offer practical perspective and insight.

Registration closes tomorrow. We hope you will join us!
