Great time in Denver with the Pax8 team this week.
Wanted to give a quick shoutout to one of the best partner managers in the business in Nicholas Fetzer. He is the kind of guy who doesn’t just show up when things are easy, but consistently leans in to help us grow, think bigger, and take advantage of everything available across the Pax8 ecosystem.

He’s been a huge part of how we’ve scaled at Avatar…from navigating vendor programs to sharpening our go to market approach. Simply put, we couldn’t do what we do without partners like him.

Today’s AI panel centered on moving from hype to impact. The consensus was clear: successful AI adoption starts with real business problems, not tools, and delivers value first through time savings and productivity gains.

Data readiness, strong governance, and security guardrails are critical enablers, not blockers of progress. We also discussed why AI must be embedded into existing workflows, with humans firmly in the loop, and why AI should be treated as an ongoing business capability rather than a one‑time project.

The companies winning with AI are being intentional, practical, and disciplined in how they deploy it.

Tonight at the CrossWalk Center “post Prison Ministry” gala meant a lot for our organization who’s had the privilege to be a part of this work.

You don’t just hear their stories…you walk with people through them. And it changes you. You realize quickly that no one is defined by their worst moment. There’s still purpose, still value, still a future worth fighting for.

Second chances aren’t overlooked here…they’re applauded 👏 . You see families being restored, confidence rebuilt, and people that just needed someone to believe they still have something to offer. For businesses, this is an overlooked talent pool; people who are resilient, motivated, and ready for an opportunity.

Grateful to be a small part of something that reminds people they’re not finished yet.
