I have to vent & rant & praise a little bit today...

I have a new found respect, appreciation, & understanding of the true meaning of an Essential Employee or/& Business

It doesn’t matter if the roads freezes over, the power go out, and the water stops flowing... WE HAVE TO GO TO WORK....

WE don’t have the luxury of staying in and staying safe!
WE don’t have the luxury or privilege to stay at home with our very own elderly parents or our beloved children & babies.

Who will feed our clients/patients if nobody shows up to cook?
Who will bathe our patients/clients if nobody shows up?
Who will give our patients/clients their much needed medications if nobody shows up?
Who will make sure our patients/ clients don’t freeze to death if nobody shows up?

I just want to send my heartfelt gratitude, my appreciation, & my love to my trench getters, my off the bench hitters, my ride or die, 10 toes down family, employee, & my sweetheart for holding my down and some days holding me up through this chaos of pandemic!

Overwhelmed, over worked, under paid, & not paid at all they never wavered.

If they don’t know because I’m too busy to always tell them I want to tell them today I value them, I SEE THEM & I love & appreciate them dearly💕 there would not be a THOS without them!

PERSONAL CARE AIDE/ CNA
Bathing, showers, or full bed baths..
Helping clients get dressed. Checking & changing clients every 2 hours & assisting them to the bathroom as needed.
Obtaining vital signs, charting, and reporting any abnormal findings to the supervisor immediately. Checking & monitoring glucose levels and giving insulin injections as ordered by MD. Giving medications at scheduled times. Setting up medications. Laundry. Cooking. Cleaning. This is not an independent home. This is a personal care/ assisted living environment. Preferably a mature applicant with experience. Shalom!
