What a way to celebrate and give back to the community for Thanksgiving! My sister and I, Ms. WBLEP 2023 and Mr. MBLEP 2023, volunteered for the Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP). After I finished teaching, then we stayed an additional 30 minutes and talk 1 on 1 with one of the participants, who was very intelligent and understood his purpose in life. Each time we attend PEP, there is always a sense of humility and gratitude 🙏🏼 and we thank God for choosing us as His vessels. I don't care what curve balls life has thrown your way, continue to allow your light to shine! It's always a blessing when we get the opportunity to serve others. Be that example!

Photo Dump! Today Mr. MBLEP 2023 and The Business Launcher LLC volunteered and supported another community event called The A.I.R. Project Soles for AIR FREE shoe giveaway. Their platform deals with abuse. "Abuse is real!" It's time to stop brushing it underneath the rug and address it. Too many kids have lost their lives due to some sort abuse. It doesn't matter the type of abuse...abuse is abuse! Check out the A.I.R. Project.

Photo Dump: Another community event: Yesterday, my sister, nieces (LoShayla and LoShilyn - Princesses) and I, Ms. WBLEP 2023 and Mr. MBLEP 2023, attended another community event with Eyes on Me, Inc in the Greenspoint area AKA "Godspoint." We became aware of this organization while serving with the Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP). Their mission to mentor, disciple, and serve at-risk youth and their families. We had an awesome time. The pictures speak for themselves. My nieces even volunteered to help clean up the children's room without even being told or asked to. They did it on their own! Super proud uncle!

This evening my sister and I, Ms. WBLEP 2023 and Mr. MBLEP 2023, had the honor to go serve and teach a class to the participants of the Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP). This was the first time she ever got the opportunity to attend with me. We even got the chance to sit down one on one with a couple of the guys to see how they're doing and encourage them to embrace the process and keep going. I must say it felt good! And a few of them are even considering reaching out to me so they can go to college and obtain a degree.

This was not a part of MY PLAN, but GOD saw otherwise. I'm honored and humbled to officially step in my new role overseeing SGLU's Admissions Department. It's never too late to go back to college to obtain the degree or degrees your heart always desired. With that being said, how may I serve you?
