Opinion 🎯

Your business isn’t struggling because of the market.

It’s struggling because you won’t make the ask. 👀

🛑 The referral you never requested.

🛑 The rate you were afraid to charge.

🛑 The partnership you never proposed.

🛑 The opportunity you watched someone else take because you were too afraid to raise your hand.

As entrepreneurs, we spend so much time refining the logo, fixing the website, perfecting the offer…

…but avoid the one thing that actually creates momentum:
Visibility and action.

Fear of judgment is one of the most expensive things on a new entrepreneur’s balance sheet.

I know because I’ve paid that bill before.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

The ask doesn’t have to be perfect.
It just has to happen.

Eventually, the right person will respond because your product, service, or idea is exactly what they’ve been searching for. 💡

Consistency builds confidence.
Confidence builds presence.

I've been listening to quite a few different podcasts over the last 2 years with the intention of walking away with some personal or business development ideas that I can incorporate into my own operations...

I must say, some hosts really deliver on their promise and some completely miss the mark.

I believe that a podcast should deliver what it eludes to. Most podcasters have a business that they are promoting and that's cool but where is the value for the audience in the 15-60 recording?

I feel played when I devote my time listening to a podcast and leave empty handed. No gems, no tips, no value. Just a gateway to buy into your services. Some of yall are missing the point. Or maybe that was your point.😏

Most successful entrepereneurs have everyday routines that they follow religiously and is contributed to their success.

Do you have a routine for your personal life? When do you pray, meditate, journal, plan your weekly wardrobe, meals, etc? If you're in a constant state of chaos, trust me your business will be affected, and not in a good way.

It can become so easy to get used to chaos and disorganization in our lives. So much so that it is the norm. If you're feeling stuck and disorganized in your business, look at how you start your day.

Do you wake up answering texts and emails, getting kids ready, and checking your socials? Are you tending to others before you tend to yourself? Are you spending 15-45 minutes figuring out what to wear? What to cook or what to do?

When you practice starting the first hour or two of your day with a routine, you become more relaxed, centered, and focused. You are mentally prepared to operate in your business with clarity and precision.
