💙 When families travel to Houston seeking life-saving medical care, Aishel House helps ensure they have a place to call home.

This , we're celebrating the incredible impact of Aishel House, which provides affordable lodging, meals, transportation, counseling, and compassionate support for patients and caregivers during some of life's most challenging moments.

Since reopening in 2017, they have provided more than 56,000 nights of accommodation, helping families focus on healing instead of housing.

Most nonprofits are comfortable talking about success stories. But what about the cost of inaction?

One of the most powerful parts of storytelling in fundraising is being honest about what’s at stake if support doesn’t come in.

That’s not manipulation. That’s clarity.

When donors understand both the transformation AND the potential loss, they connect more deeply to the mission and the urgency behind it. As Donald Miller’s StoryBrand framework teaches, every meaningful story has stakes.

Without support, critical programs pause.
Families go without help.
Lifesaving work becomes harder to sustain.

The truth is, donors don’t just want to celebrate impact. They want to help prevent heartbreak too.

Authentic storytelling builds trust, connection, and action. 💛

It’s almost halftime in the year… are you where you thought you’d be? 📊

Many nonprofit leaders expect fundraising revenue to look steady month to month, but sustainable funding rarely works that way. Growth is built through strategy, consistency, and long-term planning, not just one successful event.

One organization entered gala season concerned they wouldn’t reach a new $300,000 matching challenge. While the event itself raised $240,000, the real impact came afterward.

By refining their post-event follow-up strategy and reducing staff workload by nearly 70–80%, they raised an additional $135,000 in just 30 days, surpassing their goal and bringing total campaign revenue to more than $625,000. 🎉

The takeaway? Events create visibility, but strategy creates lasting results.

💡 Over $113 trillion is expected to transfer between generations in the coming decades. Will your nonprofit be ready?

The organizations that thrive won’t necessarily be the ones attending the most conferences. They’ll be the ones building the right fundraising skills before the opportunity passes.

At this event, you’ll:
✔️ Leave with donor strategies tailored to your organization
✔️ Gain practical skills you can use in your very next donor conversation
✔️ Earn 6.25 CFRE credits

At just $245, this experience has the potential to return far more than the investment for nonprofits willing to put these strategies into action.

Because nonprofits of every size deserve access to transformational fundraising insights, not just those with large consulting budgets.

A new pair of shoes may seem small, but for a child, it can mean confidence, dignity, and a fresh start. 💙 Consider sponsoring a child and helping them step into the new school year feeling prepared, valued, and loved.

👟🎒 Changing lives for eternity, one step at a time. Imagine sending your child to school in shoes that are too small, torn, or falling apart. For many families served here at Casa El Buen Samaritano, this isn't imagination—it's a heartbreaking reality.

That’s why Happy Feet exists.

Every August, Casa hosts this back-to-school outreach to provide the children of our patients with brand-new shoes, backpacks filled with school supplies, and the Gospel message that reminds them they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. 💙✝️

Last year, we blessed over 70 children. This year, we want to serve even more—but we need YOUR help to make it happen!

For just $60, you can fully equip 1 child for the school year. This covers:
👟 Brand-new shoes (via a shoe gift card)
🎒 A backpack filled with grade-appropriate school supplies
✝️ Gospel message and prayer
🎨 Fun activities (water bottle decorating, nutrition & health education)
✨ Dignity, confidence, and hope as they step into a new school year

Sponsorship Levels:
🌱 $60 ➡️ 1 child fully equipped
👥 $120 ➡️ 2 children
🙌 $300 ➡️ 5 children
🏫 $600 ➡️ 10 children
❤️ $_____ As many children as your heart leads you to sponsor!

Every child deserves to start the school year with confidence. Will you stand with us and sponsor a child for Happy Feet 2026?

💡 Fundraising is both an art and a science.

The science is strategy, data, systems, and stewardship. The art is understanding people, building trust, and connecting a donor’s values to a mission that matters deeply to them.

Because successful fundraising has never really been about the money.

It’s about relationships. It’s about listening well enough to understand what donors care about and helping them see how your mission aligns with their personal goals and passions.

Great fundraisers don’t pressure people into giving. They serve as the bridge between the donor and the organization, creating long-term partnerships rooted in shared purpose.

When fundraising is done well, donors give not because they were asked, but because they believe in the impact they can help create. ✨

📚 Visibility doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from doing the right things consistently.

At The Reading League, intentional engagement created meaningful opportunities for people to connect with the mission, both across the country and through one small gathering in Houston.

The impact?
✨ 195% growth in individual giving
✨ 42% increase in average gift size
✨ Nearly doubled sustained donor base

Now, the organization is continuing to grow with the appointment of a new Executive Director for its Texas chapter.

The takeaway: Visibility isn’t about being everywhere at once. It’s about creating the right opportunities for people to step in and engage.

“Angela gave me the confidence, clarity, and coaching to turn broad brush strokes into a real plan and then actually execute it.”

🎨📊 Fundraising is both an art and a science.

The science is strategy, systems, stewardship, and understanding donor behavior. The art is building genuine relationships rooted in trust, connection, and shared purpose.

Great fundraisers understand that their role is not to convince donors to give because of who they are. Their role is to serve as the conduit between a donor’s passions and an organization’s mission.

When fundraising is done well, donors stay connected to the mission long after a fundraiser moves on. That’s the mark of a relationship built to last.

The strongest donor relationships aren’t transactional. They’re transformational. ✨
