Not all plastics are created equal in your kitchen! 🥛 Packaging like milk jugs, salad dressing bottles, and dish soap containers are easy to recycle in your curbside bin or drop off program.

However, plastic bags—like bread bags, produce bags, and grocery sacks—are a major cause of recycling equipment jams. Keep these out of your home recycling bin! Instead, collect plastic bags and drop them off at store take-back bins at local big box stores and grocery stores.
