Maria J. Wortham was publicly known as Maria Wortham Monyo following her marriage to celebrated Romanian-American sculptor Prince Monyo Mihailescu-Nasturel Herescu. Associated with both Houston and Palm Beach, the couple moved within prominent art and collecting circles. The estate items are a selection from Princess Maria’s more than 4,000-square-foot residence in Houston’s Inwood Manor, a River Oaks high rise, and offer a first glimpse into her distinctive personal collection.
