Okay, so here goes. Learning is life long and getting out is difficult especially when you're different. I'm very wary of having my photo on the internet because once it's out there, it's inexplicably nigh impossible to take it off.

A few months ago, I literally took out every post that had a picture of me, but doing things differently is also under the broad category of learning. With things going the way they're, it's time to step out because life is fleeting and I don't want to have regrets.

I put out my first YouTube video on my channel () that I've had for quite some time. It's a platform that focuses on perseverance, tenacity, being different, faith, parenting and relationships. Definitely not the stuff that's popular or main stream, just a bloke telling his story and sharing his perspective on real life issues stemming from his life.

Not guaranteed to gathers tons of followers but, who knows? I would appreciate it if you could and would subscribe, like and share. God isn't done with me yet, that's the reason, especially with no knowledge of how much time I have left.

It's a two way street and you can only walk with a companion who's in agreement with you (which involves agreeing to disagree), is still open to learning (and teaching) and understands the transient nature of life's journey. More importantly, walk with a companion who sees the example of all the above in you.

Guarding your heart and minds are full blown responsibilities that come with maturity. Remember your thoughts and decisions (from your mindset) bleed into your actions, they are the brush strokes of your character and character isn't about the measurables of your life.....it's much deeper.

Went for my routine visit to the 'barbershop' and it's a thing of beauty when you share the same space with someone like Mo who refuses to let her environment steal her glow. Naysayers are an inexplicable evidence that there's something valuable in you that can't be gotten from just anyone. You just have to make the choice to share....and with the right people I'd say.

What's your identity? Because ratifying your identity is the first step to acknowledging that there's no other person on this planet that can do what you do. However, in order to be who you are, you've got to understand that regardless, there'll always be the occasional curved ball and how you deal with it affirms who you are. Life will throw you curve balls, whip up a storm, rock your boat...it's an inevitability.

What validates you is how you approach every day because somewhere else, someone has got more issues than you....your choice is what makes the difference? If it's not today, it could be tomorrow. How I handle my today determines if tomorrow's worth the fight. Consistency and perseverance are key because if it ain't worth living for, I assure you that it ain't worth dying for. Whatever is transient is not worth building on, my faith is what's brought me thus far and woe betide me if I lose it. I can't extend the precious value of time, however I can make it count for something positive each day.

Shopping! I've never understood the concept of window shopping. Some 26years ago, a friend told me, "get what you like, don't like what you get!" and it's stuck with me ever since. I endeavor to apply that to my life in compartments; because no matter how pricey things seem, the underlying intent should be "I deserve to be happy!"
