Sunbelt Merchant Group is truly honored to have been invited to attend the First Responders Children's Foundation 25th Anniversary Gala celebrating 25 years of supporting the families of our nation’s heroes.

We are especially proud that our COO, John Yawn, serves on the Board of Directors for such an incredible organization dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of first responder families across the country. Supporting the mission of FRCF is something that means a great deal to the entire Sunbelt team, and we are grateful to stand alongside those who continue to give back to the brave men and women who serve our communities every day.

Congratulations to the First Responders Children’s Foundation on this incredible milestone - we are honored to support your mission and look forward to many more years of partnership and impact.

We are pleased to announce our first-ever Vendor of the Year Award, presented to Michael Parsons and Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages.

While we are fortunate to work with many outstanding suppliers, Mike has consistently gone above and beyond to foster a strong and collaborative relationship with the Sunbelt team. His ability to connect seamlessly with CCSWB counterparts- from field teams to senior executive leadership- has been instrumental in driving alignment and results.

Mike’s understanding, ownership, and solution-oriented approach, along with his ability to manage complex stakeholder responsibilities, set him apart in today’s dynamic go-to-market environment. These efforts led to more than 200 joint trade day visits between Sunbelt and CCSWB teams, focused on addressing store-level compliance opportunities and overcoming operational challenges- once again delivering above-average business results.

Please join us in congratulating Mike on this well-deserved recognition and a job exceptionally well done.

It was truly an honor to support this Christmas season alongside our partners at CCSWB in helping Child Advocates of Montgomery County (CASA). The work they do brings safety, care, and hope to children who have been removed from dangerous environments. We were especially grateful to have our CEO, Faisal Maknojia, and COO, John Yawn, take time to stand with this cause—reminding us that kindness and giving are always worth showing up for.

Wishing you a warm holiday season and a happy New Year from our Sunbelt and Mercado family to yours.

We are honored to have our Chief Operating Officer, John Yawn, represent Sunbelt Merchant Group and the First Responders Children's Foundation Board at the Federal Law Enforcement Big Blue Bash at Mar-a-Lago this past Veterans Day. We’re grateful for the opportunity to recognize the service, sacrifice, and resilience of the men and women—both current and fallen—who have worn our nation’s uniform. Their dedication is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy every day.
