Leadership doesn’t always mean having every answer. Sometimes, it means becoming more confident in who you already are.

During the 2026 WBEA Conference, CompuCycle CEO Kelly Adels Hess shared a lesson that took time to learn: she didn’t need to constantly prove herself to be an effective leader. She needed to lead authentically, surround herself with great people, and create a culture grounded in kindness and respect.

Keeping processing in-house gives us greater control over where materials go and how they’re handled, helping us create more responsible, domestic solutions for end-of-life electronics.
