Happy Holidays! I really enjoy art, culture, books, food, and spending time with friends and family. So when I get to experience them all at once, it fills my tank. Recently, I spent an afternoon visiting + supporting Project Row Houses, Kindred Stories and Crumbville,TX and we had a blast. If you are looking for last minute gifts, check them out. Had such a a great time presenting a FULL DAY DEI Workshop with Communities In Schools of Southeast Texas yesterday! Staff from all over the region came together to share stories, open their minds and move the conversation forward with their students and schools. Thanks for your commitment to making our communities better! 🍎

Happy Juneteenth! I plan to spend the day reflecting, honoring and celebrating. I grew up in a community where Juneteenth was a big cultural event - parades, pageants, picnics etc. So it’s a tradition for me, how about you?
