Conversations in Edinburgh reflected the strength of the Lex Mundi network in action.

At the 2026 Labor and Employment and Employee Benefits and Pensions Joint Practice Group Meeting, members came together for 2.5 days of discussion, collaboration, and shared insight. Hosted by Burness Paull, Lex Mundi member firm for Scotland, the meeting explored the latest legal developments in labor law—from cross-border disputes to jurisdictional insights and emerging challenges facing global employers.

Beyond the sessions, the meeting provided valuable time to connect with colleagues across jurisdictions, exchange perspectives, and deepen relationships.

A strong few days in Luxembourg for the 2026 Lex Mundi Europe Regional Marketing & Business Development Roundtable.

Across the program, discussions focused on the priorities shaping marketing and BD teams today—from CRM adoption and the practical use of GenAI to how firms are communicating key initiatives and strengthening business development capabilities. The 2026 Lex Mundi Europe Regional Marketing & Business Development Roundtable is well underway in Luxembourg, with marketing and BD leaders from across the network engaged in a full two-day program.

Discussions so far have focused on how firms are aligning marketing and business development to support growth, alongside practical insights on CRM systems—what’s working, what isn’t and how teams are approaching adoption and efficiency. Sessions have also explored how different models, from law firms to the Big 4, are integrating marketing, BD and technology to better identify and develop opportunities.

The roundtable continues with interactive discussions, including a fishbowl session on day-to-day BD and marketing challenges, followed by sessions on the practical use of GenAI, approaches to developing business development skills and how firms communicate key initiatives and milestones.

A thoughtful and engaged group, with strong participation across each session as the roundtable continues.
