STaARS is proud to announce that Dr. Sonja Schrepfer's 2-Organ CHiP experiment (https://www.nih.gov/news-events/news-releases/nih-funded-tissue-chips-rocket-international-space-station) was activated at GMT- 343:10:00 hours this morning. STaARS Operations personnel reported that activation was nominal.

The first of five initial tissue chip investigations funded through the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Tissue Chips in Space initiative launched on SpaceX CRS-16 yesterday.
