Grand Gestures. A group of services unique to Pour Vous. A prime example is;; one frigid January, about 9:30 P.M., the phone rang. A wife in South Carolina needed help. Her husband was in a Houston hotel, for one night only, prior to being flown to Saudi Arabia. (Men don't usually go there for recreation) The husband had a cold and felt dreadful. It was sleeting here in Houston, but I went to a drug store. Bought all manner of cold treatments.Chicken soup, OJ, tissues, lozenges. The Works. On top of the gift bag, I put a little brown teddy bear, holding a chocolate kiss. I schlepped about 30 miles, in the sleet. Left the package at the hotel front desk. When I got home, the wife was still crying, but they were happy tears this time. Her husband had felt her love, one more time, before he traveled outside her reach. I DO hope he returned to her safely.

Someone I met at a networking event contacted me about a service for a family member. Although it was not a service I provide, I did make several phones calls to search for someone who could/would provide that service.

Yesterday, a new client asked for my assistance to take a donation to Goodwill. Went to downtown loft, loaded several bins of household items to my car and took to donation center. Win/win.

Since May 1, 2014 I have been attending additional networking events located in Sugar Land to meet people and businesses in that area. I have recently expanded my coverage area of Pour Vous- Errand & Concierge Services to include the Sugar Land area. For years I have been aware that the area was under served. Now, to locate those people and businesses who want assistance....
