When the Apollo 13 crew faced a life-or-death crisis, NASA engineers had to create a working CO2 filter with nothing but the materials on board. 𝗡𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀. 𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀—the four Competence Levers! 💪

Great managers exist, but many just moved up for doing good work, not for leading people. But you can help your manager—and yourself—by tracking your impact. 📈

Through Relevant Business Results (what matters to the company) and Value-Added Outputs (the measurable value you produce), you can help your manager understand your value—without waiting for recognition they might not know how to give without your help.

LinkedIn says AI use has doubled since 2023. And that’s probably old news. Do you feel pushed to jump on the bandwagon?

✅ First, analyze how you currently produce value.
✅ Then, determine what skills will help you produce more: AI or something else? Or maybe HOW can AI help you do what you’re already good at?

If AI helps you work smarter, great. But don’t chase hype; chase impact.
