I recently received my "Quarter Century" lapel pin for the 25th anniversary of my membership in ASIS International. ASIS' mission has been to "Advance Security Worldwide," and they have done a great job of doing so. I am proud to be affiliated with such a worthwhile organization.

It happens. Bad guys read an obituary in the newspaper or on social media, then target the home of the deceased. Placing a uniformed off-duty police officer at the residence during the funeral can deter such burglaries. This is one of the many ways in which the clients of Frizell Group's Off-Duty Police Services Division utilize our officers.

I was honored to be the guest lecturer in an upper level "Fraud Examination" class for MS/Accountancy students at the University of Houston, Bauer College of Business, on November 7, 2016. All of the students are future CPAs and reflect very well the hope for the next generation. I had a great time with them and I appreciate them participating in the class.

I recently learned that I have earned the distinction of being a Lifetime Member of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators. TALI (www.tali.org) is a Texas non-profit corporation and association for professional licensed investigators that brings professionalism and honor to the profession.

Frizell Group was a proud exhibitor at the Houston Chapter of the Community Association Institute Trade Show in Houston, Texas, on September 8, 2016. We made new friends and used the opportunity to showcase our Off-Duty Police Services Division.

I recently returned from a client assignment in California. I was able to visit the Federal Building where I was assigned for my very first federal job (Investigator for the U.S. Civil Service Commission, just before it became the U.S. Office of Personnel Management).
