For those who’ve been here a while, you’ve seen me in many forms. Designer. Florist. Creative entrepreneur. MoodRich. And now, quietly, a writer and educator.

I’ve spent the last few years out of view, but deeply in process—teaching, learning, healing, unlearning, and finally… returning.

This space will evolve as I do. No big announcement. Just a soft shift toward storytelling, creativity, and the sacred art of becoming.

HEY LOVE!

Nadia Simmone, the founder of MoodRich. Before starting this journey, I had a fulfilling career as an international floral artist and event designer. However, my personal struggles with anxiety and depression led me to explore different avenues for my own wellness. That's when I discovered the power of aromatherapy.

Initially, MoodRich began as an aromatherapy brand, crafted to support my own mental well-being. But life had a way of reshaping my path. The tragic loss of my younger brother and the subsequent change in my diagnosis to trauma induced Bipolar 2 Disorder completely transformed my perspective.

Driven by a deep desire to make a difference, I shifted the focus of MoodRich to mental health advocacy, with a specific emphasis on the Black American community. I recognized the unique challenges and disparities that exist in our society, and I wanted to create a platform that provided support, resources, and understanding.

MoodRich is not just a brand, but a heartfelt mission to promote mental health awareness, foster self-care, and encourage healing. I believe that everyone deserves to prioritize their mental well-being and find solace in their unique experiences. Through MoodRich, I aim to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals can find inspiration, guidance, and community.

It is my hope that by sharing my own journey and advocating for mental health, I can empower others to embrace their authentic selves and embark on their own path to healing. Together, let's rewrite the narrative surrounding mental health and create a world where everyone can thrive.

Allow me to introduce myself—Dr. Mellerie Langford. I am not only a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, but also a devoted Reiki master and teacher driven by a deep sense of purpose. My personal journey with mental health struggles, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD, led me to explore unconventional healing modalities. While traditional approaches played a role in my healing, I craved something more profound. That's when I discovered Reiki and embarked on a transformative path of self-healing.

For the past three and a half years, I have immersed myself in the practice of Reiki, offering both in-person and virtual sessions to guide individuals on their healing journeys. Reiki, originating from Japan, is a powerful technique that harnesses the flow of energy for stress reduction, relaxation, and holistic healing. Through this gentle and intuitive approach, we delve into the chakra system, identifying and addressing blockages that hinder personal growth and well-being. Together, we navigate the path towards self-discovery, unlocking the potential to become the best versions of ourselves.

It is my profound joy to connect with each one of you and embark on this transformative journey of healing and self-empowerment. I extend an open heart and an unwavering commitment to guiding you towards the healing and growth you seek.
