Year 1: I dropped out of university during the pandemic with no job, no plan, and no safety net. I started my Amazon store from my bedroom in my parents’ house. My first sale was a Swell bottle cleaner, and that one ā€œcha-chingā€ notification flipped a switch in me. Hit $10K in my first month, $50K in 3 months, and crossed $100K within 7 months.

How to hi $1M on Amazon 🧠

Most people think hitting your first million on Amazon takes years of grinding or thousands of dollars in inventory upfront.

It doesn’t.

I’ve now done over $8M in total sales with my Amazon store - and it all started from my bedroom in my parents’ house with zero experience, no bulk orders, and no money spent on ads.

Here’s exactly how I did it šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

1. I picked the right model
Amazon dropshipping (FBM) instead of FBA. No $5K–$10K upfront on inventory, no warehouse fees, no risk of bulk orders sitting unsold. If a product doesn’t sell, I lose nothing.

2. I used domestic suppliers only
No AliExpress, no Alibaba, no Temu. Fast shipping (2–5 days), high quality, and big brand name products people already know, like, and trust.

3. I played the volume game
Perfection is the enemy of progress. Instead of hunting for the ā€œperfectā€ product, I listed as many as I could. The more products you list, the more eyeballs you get, and the more sales you make.

4. I followed the 70/30 rule
70% of my products were in major categories (home & kitchen, tools, sports & outdoors) for consistency. The other 30% were seasonal items to capitalize on holidays and trends.

5. I protected my account health
The unsexy stuff. Order defect rate, late shipment rate, valid tracking. Account health doesn’t make you money, but it sure as hell stops you from making it if you ignore it.

6. I stayed consistent
The truth is the first 30 days isn’t about getting rich — it’s about proving the system works. Once you make your first sale, the snowball starts rolling.

Austin moved to LA after college with one goal: Build a life on his own terms.

He used to work in insurance but hated that.

Works part-time stadium at a stadium with his monthly income being around $2k/mo

Ayden would work construction early mornings.. Second job until 11pm. Doubles every single day.

18-hour shifts turning into 24, sometimes 28-hour shifts during snow season in Montreal.

$1,500 a week is what he was making. For all of that.

But here’s the part that really gets me.
