Client seeking an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR
administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employees
records and supporting the interview process. Your role, also, involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. He/She will be able to work efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.
HR Needs
• Processing incoming mail from the State Unemployment Office
• Creating and distributing documents
• Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Assists with planning and ex*****on of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, employee birthdays, and anniversaries.
• Running reports and tracking various metrics
• Filing employee documentation
• Serving as a point person for all human resource questions from employee
Recruitment/New Hire Process
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting
human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
• Sourcing/Vetting Candidates
• Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
• Processing New Hire Paperwork
• Ensuring background and reference checks are completed
• Preparing new employee files
• Preparing new employee training binder
• Conduct and/or assist with onboarding process
• Orienting new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log-in, email address,
etc.)
• Administering new employment assessments
Payroll
• Processing payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system
• Answering payroll questions
• Facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors
• Monitoring time clocks and recorded punches at all the locations on daily and weekly basis.
• Send emails on weekly basis to the managers for missing punches or any other discrepancies.
• Review and Provide Employee Weekly Attendance Report to Executive Team
• Performing payroll related reconciliations
• Performing payroll audits and recommending any correction action
Record Maintenance
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Updating and maintaining employment status, and similar records
• Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
• Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
• Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
• Tracking One on One Meetings between Managers
