Ignoring TDI doesn’t make the problem go away… it makes it bigger.

If you don’t provide:
✔️ Insurance
✔️ Inspection certificates
✔️ Registration

👉 TDI can refer your business to the Texas Attorney General and local law enforcement.

That means potential shutdowns, fines, and legal trouble.

This is a real example of what can happen when proper containment netting is missing or inadequate on the top of an inflatable slide or obstacle course. (Manned larger events is also a good idea)

That netting isn’t just there for looks — it serves a critical purpose:
👉 It prevents riders from falling off elevated areas
👉 It helps keep participants safely contained during play
👉 It reduces the risk of serious injury from height

Under ASTM F2374 (the standard for inflatables), specific requirements are in place for netting and containment, especially on elevated platforms and slide areas.

🚨 When that netting is missing, damaged, or non-compliant, you’re taking on unnecessary risk.

As manufacturers, operators, owners, and even event planners, it’s important to:
✅ Inspect your units regularly
✅ Ensure proper netting is installed and intact
✅ Verify your equipment meets current ASTM standards when you purchase.
