We’ve all opened AI this week hoping it would make life easier and instead ended up feeling more stuck than when we started.

You ask it to help with an email and it rewrites your whole message. You try again and it gives you something that sounds nothing like you. By the third try you are wondering if it is even listening.

That is the moment where frustration sets in.
But it is also the moment to pause.

AI is powerful, but only when we know how to guide it. The way we ask, refine, and clarify changes everything about what we get back.

That is why we created the AI Pitfalls Cheat Sheet. A quick guide to the most common mistakes and how to fix them.

Drop a 🤖 below and we will send it your way.

Here is to fewer Frustration Fridays and smarter conversations with the tools that are here to help us.

The energy you bring is contagious.

Walk into your meetings with intention, not tension.

Lead the way you want your team to feel.... focused, calm, and ready to win the week.

How do you motivate and encourage your team?

10/13/2025

Lately, it feels like everyone is being asked to do more with less.
Less time. Less energy. Less space to think.

But here’s the truth. You cannot outwork a chaotic schedule. You have to outsmart it.

This week in our Time Management with Google class, we’re focusing on being proactive, not reactive. That means scheduling what matters most before the day starts pulling you in a hundred directions.

Start small:
✅ Block 45 to 50 minutes for focused work.
✅ Take a short reset break. Stretch, grab coffee, walk outside.
✅ Use AI tools like Gemini to find your best focus windows or summarize what’s stealing your time.

You will be amazed how much more you get done when your time finally reflects your priorities.

How do you protect your focus when the day starts running away from you?

A rep just lost a deal they thought was locked. Frustration is high. The manager has five minutes before the next call starts.

Instead of rehashing what went wrong, the manager pulls out a simple framework
Open with curiosity
Define what good looks like
Ask two diagnostic questions
Run a quick practice drill
Close with commitment

In minutes, the rep shifts from stuck to ready.

That is the purpose of the 5 Minute Coaching Cards. A pocket framework to handle tough conversations quickly and effectively. Use them live in the moment or prep fast with the suggested AI helper prompts.

Want them? Drop a 🃏 in the comments and we will send them your way.

Every Friday our team gathers for what we call Weekend Wins. It is one of our favorite traditions because it gives us space to slow down and celebrate before heading into the weekend.

Some weeks it is big client milestones. Some weeks it is progress on a project. And some weeks it is personal moments that matter just as much. No matter what, sharing those wins always shifts the energy.

We believe success is not only in the results but also in the steps along the way. Weekend Wins reminds us of that and always sends us into Friday on a high note.

What is your Weekend Win this week?

Q4 is here. The last lap. The final stretch.

But before you race toward numbers and deadlines, pause for a second.

How do you want to feel when December 31st hits?

Relieved? Proud? Energized? At peace?
Write it down now. Get clear on the finish line you want to cross.

Then let that vision guide your actions this quarter how you sell, how you lead, and how you spend your time.

Because closing out the year isn’t just about deals. It’s about finishing strong in a way that feels right for you.

So here’s your Q4 reset:
Decide how you want to feel—and start selling, working, and living from that place.

This photo of our team is a reminder of what matters most.

It isn’t the busy calendars or the endless to-do lists. It’s the people beside us. The moments of care. The small ways we show up for one another.

From our Baker family to yours… may today be a chance to pause, to breathe, to reach out, and to remember you are never walking alone.

Strong weeks don’t just “happen.” They’re designed.

A few quick ways to set yourself (and your team) up for success:
• Pick one top priority and block time for it
• Schedule your most important conversations early in the week
• Leave white space for the unexpected

Momentum is built on small, intentional choices.

What’s one thing you do on Mondays that changes the rest of your week?

Not sure where to start with AI? Try this:

Instead of asking AI to write your follow-up email, ask it to analyze the buyer’s tone.

Copy/paste the last email you got from a prospect and try this prompt:
“Analyze the tone of this email and suggest how I should respond to match their style while moving the deal forward.”

You might learn they’re cautious and detail-focused, or short and decisive. Matching tone helps you show up in a way that feels natural to them which makes the interaction more human, not less.

That’s the real edge of AI in sales: freeing you up to connect better, not sound like a robot.

If you’d like to practice more ideas like this, join us for The AI Sales Edge Public Session on October 17 (7:00–3:30 CT). Registration is open.

The first time I (Baker's marketing person that is) gave a big presentation, I spent hours tweaking slides. Fonts. Animations. All the things I thought mattered.

Then it was time to present…
and I realized none of those things mattered.
I froze.

My voice shook.
I rushed through the data.
I read straight from my notes.

I never paused.
I never told a story.
I never connected.

I was so focused on how my presentation looked that I forgot about how my clients would feel.
I forgot to lean in and have a real conversation.

Yes, you’re in the room to present.
But you’re also in the room to connect.

And the best way to do that?
- Tell stories that resonate.
- Lean into their questions.
- Be in the moment.
- Truly see the people in the room.

That’s what makes a presentation exceptional.

💭 What’s one thing you do to turn a presentation into a real connection? Drop it below—we’d love to hear it.
