I’ve been radio silent for the better part of 3 years. Major life changes will make you take a step back and reassess when you get knocked on your ass! The process of healing is cyclical and necessary for growth. Now that I’m in a healthier place mentally and emotionally I am better positioned to focus on providing the quality of service that helped me build a respectable reputation within the training community.

TFS will now focus primarily on sharing knowledge and providing developmental training to fi****ms instructors and security professionals of various experience and skill levels. This means my Instructor Development Training Program is slated to return in 2024! More details to follow in upcoming posts. Other training will also but most of courses current available online will be replaced to mirror this new shift.

PCC/PCI - pre combat checks/pre combat inspections

Checking your gear is not limited to your guns or kit. Taking a moment to visually inspect your ammo can save you from having a bad day. This round comes from a recent order. A brief inspection helped me avoid what could have potentially been a bad day at the range.

Results - the outcome of something

Him: How are you able to shoot so well? I mean I know practice but…

Me: I invested in formal training but the skill building came from dry fire.

It’s easy to buy guns and ammo or go to a range and shoot a gun. Formal training is a game changer because it introduces you to concepts and shapes your mindset by allowing you to receive value added feedback.
