I recently performed in a short-play festival called “The Five Minute Mile” put on by Cone Man Running Productions in Houston, Texas. Of the 33 short plays performed, some were dramatic, but most were comedies. Some favorite one-liners demanded recognition in cross-stitch.

Just after Thanksgiving, I was commissioned to stitch a “church kneeler” for a little girl’s Christmas present. This was a first for me, on a lot of levels. First Catholic item. First stamped cross stitch. First stitch with wool yarn. Took 8 weeks and a lot of unholy words, but it’s done! Reaction video in comments makes it all worth it 🥰🥰
