I'm so grateful for all of the moments in my life when I felt hopeless, alone, defeated, and broken. I thought my days of happiness were behind me and suffering was a permanent existence for me.
However, God had other plans for my life. Right in the middle of the darkest depression, facing my worst losses, God began to work in my life. He started showing me signs, reminding me of his promises. That he will never leave or forsake me. That his Son, Jesus already paid the price for my sins, and with God's help, a better future is possible.
I began receiving prayers from unexpected people. One random Police Officer approached me and said he felt compelled to Pray for me. Without even knowing who I was, he prayed a prayer that was so specific to what I was dealing with at the time. I could not deny it anymore, God was revealing to me through unexpected encounters with strangers, that I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
I began to Believe in the possibility of a better future. I began to Believe in God's plan again, and began praying often. At first the change in my life was subtle and went unnoticed, but eventually doors which were once locked, began to open. Opportunities I thought were not possible started presenting themselves to me. Blessings began popping up around every corner, blessings which I would have taken for granted, if not for all of the previous suffering I experienced. Without the Adversity, the victories would have been insignificant.
Always Remember There is :
Value in the Suffering
Purpose in the Pain
Wisdom in the Waiting
&
Healing in Jesus' Name
