More than 20 years ago, Apache set an ambitious goal to give away one million trees.

What started as an idea has grown into a program that continues to evolve, helping communities plant trees and see the benefits for years to come.

Today, that commitment has grown to more than 5 million trees planted, with impact visible in parks, schools and neighborhoods across Houston and beyond.

Now, we’re ready to do even more.

Hundreds of seedlings. Volunteers coming together with one shared goal: giving back to the community.

Apache employees volunteered alongside Astros Foundation and Trees For Houston to help distribute tree seedlings to community members, supporting conservation efforts and helping grow a greener Houston.

Through our partnership with the Houston Astros, Apache Day at Daikin Park brought employees together for a memorable experience celebrating teamwork, community and our shared connection to Houston.

From cheering in the stands to seeing Apache moments featured throughout the game, it was a great reminder of what collaboration can achieve, both on and off the field.

The afternoon included a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds benefiting our neighbor, Walnut Bend Elementary, supporting local students through the HISD Foundation, and extending the impact beyond the ballpark and into the community.

The Tour de Houston brought incredible energy to the city, and Apache was proud to serve as the title sponsor for the 13th year. This year, our headquarters also served as a rest stop along the route, creating a meaningful opportunity for Apache employees and their families to support riders and serve our community.

Our SVP of Environment, Health and Safety, Supply Chain and Midstream and Marketing, Jessica Jackson, helped kick off the race with opening remarks, setting the tone for a great day ahead.

From early‑morning energy to big smiles at the finish, it was inspiring to see thousands of riders come together to celebrate community, health and the spirit of Houston. Events like this continue to get better each year, thanks to the strong partnerships behind them.

Apache is proud to sponsor this year’s Tour de Houston and host a rest stop at our headquarters, welcoming riders as they refuel and keep the momentum going.

All rest stops along the route will be stocked with water, hydration beverages, fresh fruit, snacks and portable restrooms to keep everyone comfortable on the ride.
