On a job search over the holidays? Here are two quick and encouraging reasons why that’s a good thing.

Most job seekers take the holidays off, and it makes sense to take a break since looking for work can wear down even the most enthusiastic seeker. But what does that mean for the people who choose to keep looking? Well, it means less competition.
#2 Your contacts have free time
If you’re networking, and you absolutely should be networking, chances are good that the people with whom you’d like to meet have some time on their hands. Sure, not everyone has a cushy holiday schedule, but the odds of getting your name on some of those busy calendars are definitely in your favor.
