What a weekend. 🍇

Spent it inside the International Premium Vinifera Lecture Series at CCOVI BrockU , from lecture hall one minute, barrel cellar and research lab the next.

Got to spend time with Don & Elaine Triggs, the founders of this whole series, Barb Tatarnic from CCOVI, and ‘s President, Leslie Rigg, alongside a great group of growers and industry folks from all over Niagara.

Day 1 of the Triggs International Premium Vinifera Speaker Series was both fun and informative. I’m better prepared to talk to the growers in Niagara after having visited the three sites for today’s educational tour. I’ll start in a young vineyard, then we will work our way up in vine age until we wrap it up at a mature bearing vineyard planted in the 90’s. The focus: vineyard nutrition and training vines for longevity. Let’s go Ontario! 🍇 🍑 🥂🍷
