We are marketers. Content writers, designers, and strategists. And so this week we’ve put together plans, managed design, and worked to support our clients.

But in the BrightSpot office, we have also shed tears this week. Because we are also mothers, and daughters, and Texans who cannot turn a blind eye or allow ourselves to become numb when there is tragedy.

As marketers, we want to move the needle with our messages. But when children are senselessly taken from us like they were in Uvalde yesterday, sometimes there are no words.

Still geeked out about getting to visit the world's largest battery energy storage center in Florida a couple weeks ago. Saw the last of 53,144 batteries be installed. Then had the honor of talking to some of the team that built it. Oh, what a story they had to tell. One of challenges, ingenuity, firsts, and ultimately, incredible pride.
