How do you drink water when thereโs no gravity to make it flow? ๐ง
Astronauts canโt simply pour water into an open cup aboard the International Space Station. In microgravity, water doesnโt fall downward the way it does on Earth. Instead, astronauts use specially designed drink containers with straws and valves that help control the water and keep it from floating away.
Itโs a great example of how the space environment changes something we normally take for granted.
That same kind of observation is at the heart of NASA HUNCH. Students are challenged to look closely at how an environment changes a problem, then use design, testing, and problem-solving to develop a solution.
