Spend slower months catching up on administrative tasks that sometimes get overlooked or pushed off. If you don't have some kind of employee review system in place, slower months are a good time to do that, as well!

Summer is usually such a fun time for families. It can also be a fun time to learn in a different way than kids can learn in school. Plan a cool activity related to a book you read together. Read a story about the beach, then go to the beach! Read a story about fish and go to an aquarium. You get the idea. What would you like to do with your family this summer?

Sudden changes that are not in the forecast can appear, too, so watch for signs of temperature drop or shifting winds or rumbles of thunder.
