This week we’re in San Antonio for the 2025 Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) Convention, where industry leaders are discussing energy efficiency, AI, cybersecurity, and demand management across the cold chain.

These conversations are not just academic – they translate directly into real-world impacts. One example is GCCA’s volunteering at the San Antonio Food Bank, where Viking Cold installed a Thermal Energy Storage (TES) system that will save more than 8,000 kWh of energy per month, resulting in 70,000 additional meals for San Antonians.
