The future of the cold chain depends on how we build it.

This year’s CEBA Conference & Expo, taking place November 3-5 in Las Vegas, is part of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and brings together the teams building the next generation of high-performance cold storage and controlled environments.

Viking Cold Solutions is excited to connect with industry leaders like Cold Box Builders, TI Cold, Stellar and CMC Design Build who continually raise the bar on what’s possible in cold storage.

CEBA isn’t just a conference – it’s where the future of the cold chain is created.

This week we’re in San Antonio for the 2025 Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) Convention, where industry leaders are discussing energy efficiency, AI, cybersecurity, and demand management across the cold chain.

These conversations are not just academic – they translate directly into real-world impacts. One example is GCCA’s volunteering at the San Antonio Food Bank, where Viking Cold installed a Thermal Energy Storage (TES) system that will save more than 8,000 kWh of energy per month, resulting in 70,000 additional meals for San Antonians.

The future of refrigeration is happening now at ASHRAE!

Viking Cold Solutions is energized by this year’s focus on Thermal Energy Storage (TES) and the adoption of AI to optimize cold storage energy management. Our smart, engineered TES technology lowers energy costs by responding to utility demand charges and reduces energy consumption by improving efficiency through phase change around the freezer set point. It also increases resiliency, improves food quality, and allows for better working conditions for freezer operators.

We’re excited to be part of a community leading the charge toward more sustainable, intelligent Thermal Energy Storage systems. If you're at the conference, let’s connect!

Our team’s always where the cold chain conversation is happening.

This week, our Director of Sales, Bill Stallings, connected with industry leaders at the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) Southeastern Cold Chain Connection in Atlanta—where the rising cost of operations, particularly labor, was a key theme.

As facilities look for ways to manage costs without compromising performance, Viking Cold Solutions offers energy-efficient solutions and demand management strategies that directly reduce operating expenses in temperature-controlled environments.

Thank you to GCCA for bringing together the people shaping the future of the cold chain.

Reach out to Viking Cold Solutions to see how we can help you lower energy costs!
