My kids decided Starlord and Barbie would make a cute couple so we did an impromptu engagement session for them. Barbie didn't have anything to wear, but luckily her friend Belle came through and lent her this gorgeous yellow frock. Since most of the parks are closed this weekend, we had to improvise and do the shoot in the front yard. Luckily this couple was pretty easy to work with although they were a little stiff in the beginning.

Is there anything more fun than a best friend photoshoot? These two gorgeous gals have been BFFs since the 5th grade and I love being able to capture their friendship and their gorgeous smiles.

Now that the craziness of the holiday season is over, I can sit down and breathe and share some of the amazing sessions I had last year. I had the opportunity to photograph a lovely and talented ballerina. You know the advice to dance like no one is watching? Well it doesn't apply when you're a real life ballerina. Here are my favorites from our shoot.

This beautiful momma let me style her and her beautiful daughters for an amazing mommy and me photoshoot. I chose the outfits and the location and I told her just to show up and not worry. Even if we don't get those picture perfect poses, we'll still capture the connection and bond between mother and daughters and sisters and sister.

I don't like cold weather, but I do love cold weather fashion. Kind of crazy, huh? There's just something so cozy and fun about wearing chunky knit sweaters with knee high boots. Love this session I did with Brianna at a new location I found here in Houston.
