We'be been kinda quiet on feature releases for The Vero Theme (which we have been steadily pushing out), mainly because we are crazy busy. Sometimes it's the small features like this one. We build features as we need them for site builds that we handle. We already had a minimum product quantity feature built into the theme, but what if a product option needed a minimum quantity? Let's say you outsource UV patches, and only want to do bulk orders and still want that as an option. Now you can! Also has cart validation so someone can't just reduce the quantity in the cart. Feature is live in the latest release 😎

Had a great conversation with a member of Shopify’s Growth Advisor team today as a Shopify Partner.

We talked through how Shopify is supporting partners right now, shared feedback both ways, and had a solid discussion around growth opportunities moving forward, and ways to better support my clients.

The highlight for me though…
They took a look at our fully custom Hydrogen-based site (still on Shopify) and liked it enough to share internally with their teams.

That kind of feedback means a lot, especially coming from people who see a high volume of partner work every day, and I’m still building this business from the ground up.

Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to continuing to deliver great work for all of you 😁

The Easter Egg revealed! Henry got it within a half hour, so he was the winner. A little context: for those that know me personally, know that my son loves dinosaurs and is completly obsessed with trains, so bam - a dinosaur riding a train when you click or tap the logo wireframe 5 times 😊

Our business keeps growing year after year, and because of that things have gotten a little hectic around here. Shopify just dropped a big one for small to mid stores.

Core B2B features are now available on Basic, Grow, and Advanced plans. No Plus required.

That means you can now:
• Set up wholesale customers (company profiles)
• Create up to 3 pricing catalogs
• Offer volume pricing and quantity breaks
• Use payment terms, ACH, and saved cards

Honestly… we built a lot of this into our store, but being native is HUGE for b2b focused merchants.

Just keep in mind:
This is “B2B lite.” Advanced setups like unlimited catalogs and customer specific pricing still live behind Shopify Plus.

Still… huge move for smaller brands getting into wholesale.

We’re making a big change to how we communicate at 424 Solutions.

Going forward, we’ll be using Discord as our primary hub for client communication.

Every client will get their own private channel to work directly with our team. No more digging through emails or waiting on unreliable portal messages. Everything is centralized, fast, and easy to access.

Inside the server, you’ll also find:
• Updates and release notes for the Vero Theme
• Channels for bug reports and feature requests
• General website discussions and industry conversations
• A space to connect with other makers and business owners

Down the line, we’ll also be adding live support hours, walkthroughs, and how-to sessions.

Why Discord?
Our portal messaging hasn’t been as reliable as it should be, email gets crowded, and Slack can get expensive. Discord gives us a flexible, real-time solution with strong mobile support so you can stay in the loop wherever you are. We are tired of missed messages, and I'm sure you are too.

Project tracking, invoices, and formal deliverables will still live in the portal, but day-to-day communication is moving to Discord.

Our general public chats are quite empty, so even if you aren't a direct client, but want to discuss anything website/online presence related (or industry related), please join and start a conversation!
