I first got put onto RGonzo via our mutual friend and collaborator Pen God

And admittedly, at first I didn't see it. It was IZZY that told me to keep paying attention and im glad that I did.

In the short few months that I've known RGonzo,
I've seen a fascinating metamorphosis in his music.
His laid back style mixed with lyrics that almost feel like intrusive thoughts.

I find his music to be cathartic.
He says the thing that isn't said out loud, out loud but not in a "look at me" kinda way but rather as an emotional purge, perhaps of his own intrusive thoughts laid bare for us to hear and relate to.

This particular song is one of my new favorites.

I'd definitely put him on any "Must Watch" list for new music.

One direct buy can do more than a pile of passive plays because it gives you:
clearer value
more control
faster revenue
a real customer relationship

Use streams for discovery.
Use direct offers for conversion.

Emails, phone numbers, purchase history, engagement, customer profiles, and audience segments give you leverage you can actually use.

Stop confusing visibility with ownership.
Capture the data.

The smart ones build the system around it.

Owning the file is one thing.
Owning the master, the publishing, the metadata, the registrations, and the payout flow is a different game entirely.

A song becomes a business asset when the infrastructure knows: • what you own
• where it lives
• who gets paid
• how the money gets back to you

The pair.
The release.
The blueprint.
The system.

Sometimes it is.
Sometimes it is noise.

The real question is simple:
Who is paying attention because they care?

A real fan does not need to be begged every time.
They come back.
They support.
They buy.
They tell somebody else.

Popularity gives you traffic.
Fans give you a business.

Use the attention to find the people who actually care.

Then stop performing for everybody else.
